1st Weekly Update of 2013

Hello Loves,

It’s Glo! I’m coming to provide you all with a brief weekly update. I will be providing weekly updates to help me stay persistent and to also keep you all updated and hopefully motivated. This week I was able to accomplish working out 3 out of 4 days. Below I have attached my Garmin Connect exercise log. This information comes directly from my Garmin heart rate monitor, in which I recently done a post on here

This week I went to Zumba and got a huge motivational boost from my instructor. My instructor started off at the same Y as me weighing in at 310lbs has lost over 80lbs!!!! She now appears on our local television channels and even has a billboard!!!! She has an extremely nice but yet motivational approach to her class and to fitness in general. If you're interested in reading more click here. I also became so motivated and full of life that I developed my own quote. So here it is...
"When you get fed up, thats when you'll get your ass up", yes I said it (keepin it real). So now its a new week, what have you ladies done in the past week or plan to do differently this week, to change your lives for the better?

Glo is BACK!!!!!!!!

Hello Lovelies, it’s your girl GLO. I’ve been on a serious hiatus and haven’t blogged since forever. Although I haven’t been blogging, I have been implementing exercise within my daily routine and trying to eat healthier. By looking at my workouts as apart of my day, I don’t dread doing them as much. I know with the New Year approaching, there will be many bloggers posting, so I wanted to get ahead of the rush! Every year I’ve made the weight loss goal, this up and coming year I plan to just build upon how far I’ve come. Nonetheless, I do plan to be on some beach wearing a bikini in the summer of 2013. So it’s ON!!!!! Below are a few pics from #2012 (potentially before shots) In case you’re new to the blog and you’re interested in getting to know more about me I have a personal blog (haven't updated that in while either) that you can
visit if you’re interested click here… I also want to share with you that I have become a Zumba FANatic and I use myfitnesspal.com to track, if you'd like to add me there click here

Until next time……..

The 10 Principles of Intuitive Eating

1. Shake the idea of this being a diet because it is a lifestyle change
2. If you feel hungry feed your appetite appropriately.
3. Don't let the "food police" dictate what you can and cannot eat. You are the boss of your body!
4. Accept that food is necessary but it is not controlling your life. Make peace and move on.
5. Listen to your body. If you feel full do not try to tip over that hill. Moderation is always key!
6. If you eat the right foods, participate in engaging activities, and sleep well. You will be satisfied!
7. Find healthy ways to deal with your feelings. Distract your mouth from food, no more emotional eating.
8. Research the diseases and illnesses in your family. Learn from them and try to prevent them. RESPECT!
9. Start moving. Create a fitness routine that works for you and exercise for your well being.
10. Honor your commitment to health. Remember your intentions and stay focused on achievement!
Any tips you find helpful?
