So this week I have a recipe to share that is very interesting and EASSSYYY to make, oh and did I mention its CAKE CAKE CAKE! While watching Dr.Oz a few weeks ago, on the show was the fabulous Hungry Girl. While on the show she showed several recipes that were awesome-healthy, easy to prepare and inexpensive! Club Soda Chocolate Cake
1/12th of cake: 171 calories, 3.5g fat, 301mg sodium, 34g carbs, <0.5g fiber, 19g sugars, 1.5g protein -- PointsPlus® value 5*
One 18.25-oz. box moist-style devil's food cake mix (or other chocolate cake mix)
One 12-oz. can club soda
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9" X 13" baking pan with nonstick spray.
In a large bowl, whisk cake mix with soda until smooth. Pour into the pan.
Bake until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean, 30 - 35 minutes.
Slice and enjoy!

Okay so here’s my version! Due to the fact that I didn’t follow the recipe when I went to the grocery store I picked up the wrong amount of cake mix. I bought a cake mix that had about 3 oz’s less, so what I did to supplement that I poured 3 oz’s less of club soda. Other than that I followed the directions as listed and decided to add a little décor to my cake (sprinkles of course)!!!! Oh and I added some chocolate frosting! So I decided to use half of the frosting and that adds about 50 calories or < to the recipe. I just can’t do regular cake without icing..... So here's my picts……
